Claire Dorey and Christopher Piedmonte join La Maison Hubert Advisory Board
We are happy and honored to report that Claire Dorey and Chris Piedmonte have formally joined our newly-formed Board of Advisors.
Sustainable finance and social entrepreneurship
Claire Dorey is Franco-American and brings over 20 years experience in Communications, PR and marketing to La Maison Hubert. She has extensive experience developing marketing and communications strategies, creating relationships with media and external stakeholders both in the luxury and sustainable finance sectors in France and Switzerland.
Over the years, she collaborated with multi-cultural teams and worked closely with head management to create strong communications and PR strategies, events and corporate publications.
She has a fine understanding of cross-cultural differences between the French, the Swiss and American cultures in terms of business style, attitude and taste. She has also developed a strong network of experts and stakeholders in the areas of sustainable development, finance, and luxury.
After having lived over 20 years in Europe, Claire recently moved to New York City where she is woking as a Communications and PR consultant while building up her network.
She currently advises start-ups with a special focus on social entrepreneurship and serves as an advisor to an NGO working in emerging countries.
Technology and venture capital
With a career spanning over 30 years in engineering and executive management, Chris has extensive experience forming and nurturing technology startups, managing early stage growth, and performing turn-arounds on failing ventures.
Throughout his career, Christopher Piedmonte has developed and brought to market new technologies and products in the enterprise, SMB and consumer markets. His skill set includes leadership coaching, team building, startup venture planning, private and venture capital fundraising, business operations and management, engineering technologies and product development disciplines, and strategic relationship development.
Chris is currently the Managing Director of NeoTerra Capital, a Florida-based venture capital firm focused on seed stage advanced nanotechnology companies. He is also a partner at Vonzos Partners, a venture capital and advisory firm focused on improving the human condition through innovation in healthcare, education, safety and quality of life ventures.
He is currently working with a number of ventures in various stages of development by serving on their corporate or advisory boards, as well as taking on fractional executive roles to fill skill gaps in the companies he is mentoring.
